I've answered your question before. Think of this; when you close the forum for guests, can they see your Board Index? No. It's the same. When your site is not open for guests, the portal page will not be shown too.

As all said, if you are using a different language than English, you need to make language file edits for your language files too. You can translate them or use in English too.

Just make the change which should be don in Modifications.english.php in your language's Modifications language file. And copy SPortal.english.php and name as SPortal.{your_language}.php. You can translate the parts that are viewable by your guests.

We hope to make some work about this language issue soon.

Hey bro, thx, its always the simple answers that we pass by, my forum is not open to guests, and i dont plan on it ever being open to guests, but if i create a board open to guests will that surfice and thus make the portal page appear ?

That tutorial is to adapt the Portal to other themes and languages right?

Following the tutorial, i have to change the "index.php", the "/Sources/Display.php",etc  (files placed in the root of the forum), right? Because i always change the files of my actual theme (Apollo BB).

Is there a program or something that could find the words in files like "Index.php", because is some dificult to find some texts

I need help!
I installed SimplePortal 2.0.2 using the Package of the Moment thingy in the package manager,
but it didden't work, it put "SimplePortal 2.0.1 © [SiNaN]" in the site's footer, and messed up the menu in the Administration Center, heres a screenshot:

so i decided to download SimplePortal and upload it myself, so i deleted SimplePortal, but i forgot to uninstall it first, now the menu is still messed up, and it still says  "SimplePortal 2.0.1 © [SiNaN]" in the footer, and i can't uninstall SimplePortal cause i have deleted it!
now i downloaded SimplePortal 2.0.2 on my Mac, and  uploaded it from the Package manager, and it says: "Could not upload package, please check directory permissions!"

What should i do??? someone please help!

I can't see the screenshot. What is the language you are using? It should be because of that you are not using English language.

Dowload the package you've installed. Upload it via FTP to the Packages directory. Then [Uninstall].
