Basically I am wondering if this is possible via the admin panel, as I can only seem to Colour in online list, then the hex for it. What I want is this:

which is what I have in ipb. In ipb the code would be <*span style="font-weight: bold; border: 1px solid black; background-color:red; color: white; text-decoration: none;"><*/span> without the * obviously, and that example is for the admin membergroup. Is there a mod or anything that can achieve this for me? As I really don't want to be manually editing code myself, and honestly, I wouldn't have a clue where to start.

Cheers, will take a look at them and get back to you  :)

Edit: The first link, I already have that mod, that works fine. Its the actual colours I want to be able to change, because if you look at the image from the mod, the colours for the member list are bland, where as the ones I have on my ipb forum bright and you can actually see them. Will check the rest out though.

Edit 2: This is what I want, however the mod is not for the newest beta  :(

Well you might want to contact the author of that first mod and see if they can offer an adjustment to the code to incorporate the background color settings via the mod.

Now 2 is a totally different mod from the original request, you might want to also try that mods support thread and get an indication of a possible update to 2.x
