Repeat Feature in calendar

I love SMF and am grateful for all your hard work on it.

It would be a great if you added a repeat feature in the calendar, so that I could schedule an event/meeting and have it repeat on the same day  each week or day/date each month, year, etc. I love the feature that will repeat events over consecutive days.

A lot seems to be going into 1.1, is there a feature list, that would be nice to look at, or do you want someone (IE me if you want) to go through and make a nice list of all requests and post them, might take a while.

There are a fair few things planned for 1.1, but unfortunatly there is a difference between planned and "in". I have loads of things I'd love to see in 1.1, but many will have to wait for 1.2, 1.3, 2.0 etc. This feature is something I would like to add, but it would be a fair amount of work, and there are many higher priorities. I wouldn't want a "definitive" list of what is going into 1.1 because it almost certainly won't be accurate. Basically, every time someone says something is planned for 1.1, assume there is a 25% chance of it actually happening

Okay, ill try not to get exicited when someone says that then, i dont know if anyone has noticed but all the major forum systems are getting ready with a new release,

SMF (The Best)  - Coming For 1 (In a way 2, like an evolution from yabbse)
YaBB (Best Perl) - Coming for 2
phpBB (*coughrubbishcough*) coming for 2.2.X
InvisionFree - Coming For 2
Invision - Coming For 2
TFS (Trekkies forum system) Coming for 2, really just a homemade shoutbox, but looks bigger.

I think theres a competition some where, but we all know who would win, dont we

Grudge - sorry about that. I was getting that mixed up with the new "post-event-without-a-topic" thing that's planned for 1.1... As it is, people don't seem to use the calendar much now, although that will probably change with the new functionality...
