Event date error

One forum we are running using SMF is starting to make a lot of use of the calendar.  However, many events added to the calendar then linked to a post are shown on the relevant board on the the day AFTER they were entered in the calendar.

Yes, we've checked for operator error and no, they were added correctly - even to the extent of deleting a sample and re-entering it.

We are operating from Sydney with a significant time offset, so I guess that could be an issue.

Short story - what the heck would be causing this to happen to a variety of operators, the accuracy of whose event entries has been checked?

Are you sure your time offset is setup correctly?
Most likely it is adjusting for your time offset here.

I believe event times are also translated into your local time, using the time offsets

My Weakness

My forum has the same problem. While in the Calendar it'll say 23rd, 24th and 25th for a particular event in October, when you click on the event to go to the linked post, the dates at the top will be October 24, 2009 - October 26, 2009.

Any news on how to fix this? The forum time offset is +18 and the users all come from the same location so their time offset is 0 in their profiles.

Thanks...
