tag???

I've just again noticed making a post, or in this case sending a PM, I included a
tag in the middle of the text, and after I sent the PM I saw the text in my out box had a
tag at the end. I've seen this in posts before too, except that I was able to clean it up.

I'm using the WYSIWYG editor. There were no other BBCodes in the text.

Has anybody else seen this? It could possibly be some sort of insect or bug. :)

It was a bug, but I believe was fixed after beta 4 was released.

And  you didn't personally pay me a house call to fix my SMF? :)

Okay, thanks One Who Counts Sheep. :) I just wanted to make that sure the bug had been discovered. :)

I don't know what Beta 4 the SMF forum uses, but the SMF forum has this bug, as can be seen in the OP of this topic:

It isn't using a fixed version if that is what you are asking :P

I tested this on my site which is using a newer version of SMF than here and it worked fine.

Although, I do have a bug or two I need to sort out there now :-[

That is fine. I know of the two bugs I have. I just can't deal with them until I get home from classes as I don't trust public internet to do things like that :P

I've got a few bugs that I haven't yet been able to convince you guys are really bugs. Unfortunately they will require quite a lot of work to prove, and aren't show stoppers by any means.

I've got several appearance bugs (CSS etc.) but I've decided there is little heart taken in addressing appearance, not when there are functional bugs attacking.
