[Urgent] How To restore deleted board!!

Its urgent. I accidentally deleted a board containing over 60 topics :-X

Now I have a backup of the db ..please tell me soon how can restore it.
Plzz reply fast. I'm vry worried

Remember that the backup will delete any new data that has been added to the forum. Also check that the backup is complete before starting to restore it.

is there any way of manually restoring the particular board  i deleted by editing the db file????

Probably not going to be that simple, but it can be done. You will need to go into your smf_messages table and look for ID_BOARD. That's your board ID. You need to find out what board ID it was using (the board you deleted). Query for that board ID and you should get back the list of posts for it. You might also want to do the same thing for smf_topics. Once that's done, import those entries back into your current database and then run the forum maintenance tools to repair it. You might want to make a separate backup of the current database just to be safe.
