site loading bad

hi, i have smf v1.1.4 and ive been working on it alot in the past 2 days and when i went to go on it today it took like 5 minutes to load and when it did load it didnt display right, i posted on my host's site but no one replied

You've not told us anything, really. Can you give us a url?

Also, you really ought to upgrade to v1.1.6.

It loaded, for me, quite quickly. Not super-fast, by any means, but it wasn't too bad.

Have you tried repair_settings.php?

Apart from the bit at the top, it all looks fine, too.

Is everything OK, if you use the SMF default theme?

Well as a guest it loads in a timely fashion for me also.  Does it change when you are logged in?  If so this could mean a modification that is present only to registered users might be slowing the forum down.  Third party links, etc.

Also any 'free' service will most likely be not as robust as a paid service, as they say .. you get what you pay for.
