I keep getting this when I go to certain member's blog:
There are no articles to display in this blog.
But they have articles in there.

It goes away when I put it back as a board then create it into a blog. But then it has my avatar where the blogger's avatar is supposed to be and I'm not the blogger.

This happened to me to...  we just deleted the blog and made each member there own on a section of our site,  less trouble that way.  :D

This mod has way to many errors man!

You guys don't give me any specific details about what versions you are running, what other mods you have installed, or anything specific... I cannot fix the problem then.

If you don't want to use it that's fine... your loss :)

Since only you two have ever had this issue... it's most likely a problem with how you installed the mod.

Just stopped in to check on the new version's progress, and thought I'd say hello. Have a great week, Charles.  8)

Thanks, CaptJack :D

I've been building a bug tracking system.  It's pretty much done.  Just finishing up a couple things and then I'm going to launch it on my live site.  After that I will need to test the paypal integration of my store front.  Then put the finishing touches on BC 2.0.3 Beta.

C.Jack

Thanks for the update. I'm sure it'll be awesome, and I look forward to it's release.  :)

Looks Great I think of this would be a mod of SMF xD

Nice Job ;)

Maybe you can add this features:

* Attachments
* Put projects on the boardindex
* Timeline
* Bugs & Features
* Timelines
* Statics
* Assign features or bugs to a Member or Developer

I have a question on this mod. Well, two. I'm planning to add a blog to my forum, I'm new at this, and I'd rather use an SMF mod than Wordpress, if I can.

(1) Can it syndicate like Wordpress does, from another blog location?

(2) Can it gather excerpts from multiple blogs and put them in one place?

TIA.

Charles Hill

1... I have never used word press, could you explain more please?

2... Do you mean input the URL of an RSS feed and have the posts made in that feed be displayed somewhere?

Smoky "Rider" Blue

i think that is what he is talking about Charles..

as far as Robbie.. that was your decission, you know you could have come to me and i could have helped you out.. should you decide again to try it out, let me know and i can help.. ;)

DocPixel

Um, he;)

Charles, I haven't personally used WP. I like forums better than blogs. But...

(1) A member told me that Wordpress allows her to post on her blog on her site, and it will automatically redirect and update her blog on another site. Basically, two identical blogs on separate locations.

(2) The same member said it's possible to have one block that directly displays excerpt/link combinations from various individual blogs. Again, a WP thing, somehow related to atom or rss.

lol Doc.. i get the same thing..  >:( :D

Hi,

Could i have some help ???

I am using a custom theme and basically i want the Blog button next to the Forum button (right hand side of forum button).

I have added buttons previously without problems but am very confused with this one.

I have uploaded my index.template.php file for my custom theme.

If you would edit it for me that would be great. I notice there are a few things in the index.template.php that need changing but worried to change any of the changes required.

If you could do them for me i would much appreciate it.

Thank you,
Mathew

try this one out.. if it doesnt work, post back ;)

may i ask first where it says:

<meta name="keywords" content="', !empty($context['blog']['meta']['keywords']) ? $context['blog']['meta']['keywords'] : $modSettings['default_meta_keywords'], '" />

before that was changed i had my site keywords in there but now i dont, how is google going to know my keywords if they been removed from this file?

Thanks for helping will try it when you reply back to question.

Mathew,

it is done that way on purpose.. your site now, even with the default is like that ;)

directions are in the xml file to edit your custom theme.

the reason?? you now have a blog on your site, that can and will add, not only the default meta tags, that you set in place, but also your memebers can add to it..

this is why it is important to look at the xml file when editing or adding any mod to your site, so that you know exactly what the function is.

now its up to you, to use it to its full potential or not.. personally, i think Charles has a killer idea on the meta.. but again, its on you now ;)

Thanks for the advice, that what i wanted to know whether it used my keywords and ones frmo blogs.

Great! better than i thought as it uses both.

Also it works perfect, thank you for taking the time out to add it for me.

Much appreciated  ;D

Thanks ever so much

Mathew

Smoky "Rider" Blue
