But I really don't have a clue.

So I'm running my forum and me and my members love it. I failed to install the small portal :( on a testforum. Then I remembered I had a e107 site somewhere. Now it's up and running, no members cause I only wanted to learn the stuff. Then I checked here and found the bridge for e107 - SMF. How does this work?

How difficult is it to install it (remember that I'm useless when it comes to databases and such) and where and how should it be installed? Will it put the SMF-forum in the middle of the e107 site and will the forum then listen to the administrative panel at the e107?

Please help me :D

It's really no more difficult to install than any other e107 plugin.

Not sure what you mean by "will the forum then listen to the administrative panel " ?

So it's really like istalling a plug-in. I've never uploaded any plug-ins at the e107 test-site since I've just used the onces pre-installed in my installation. What I really would wanna do is to integrate my current SMF-forum with the e107.

some description of WHAT "didn't work" would be much more useful.

Also versions?  SMF? Bridge? E107?  URL?

I think I've given up, now I'm trying out some other things at a new testsite instead.
