Hi,

I'm trying to restore my forum's database, after attempting to upgrade to 1.1.7 broke it, but I'm getting the following error message in MySQL

Line #16445: Illegal double '1636e24994' value found during parsing

I tried within MySQL, and then I tried the restore_backup.php method, but I get the same error message.  All my posts are intact, but ALL my registered users are now Guests (including me, so I can no longer log in)

Does anyone know what's going on?

Many thanks,
Oliver

I think it's showing two of the same code?

Can you search your backup file for "1636e24994" and let us know there it is.  I would hazard to guess a mod has put a value somewhere it shouldn't

Do you have SSH access?

If so:

nano <backup file>
(replace <backupfile> with the name of the backup file and the path to it.)

hit CTRL + SHIFT+_

Type in 16445, then hit Enter.

This takes you to that line of code - and then paste it :)

Hi KTR Oliver. Do you still require assistance with this? :)

The moment passed I'm afraid.  I carried on with an earlier backup.   ::)
