After moving from 1.1.6 to 1.1.7 , i got "An Error Has Occurred!"

I've also just got this error, It doesn't really help that it's a reported bug - I have a package that now won't uninstall and is causing the memberlist to say "gender = Username". Is there anyway of sorting the error ? I would need some guidance as I'm not very good at php.

That fix is what was officially commited to the SMF repository about 20 minutes ago.

after finding and replacing the code its now working fine.

its still have some problems.

i tried installing "Centerfold World" it asked me ftp login and i entered it and it installed.


then i tried installing all these mods and it didnt asked any ftp info but gave the same error message back again:-

Qucik Register

and uninstalling this package gave same error:
Ellow pink smiley set

where as when i tried uninstalling this mod it uninstalled. Centerfold World

I'm still having some problems, I can't find Packages.php? Is this because I copied all the templates etc from the default template to a new one? ... Am I even looking in the right place ^^ (I'm looking at this http://dev.simplemachines.org/mantis/view.php?id=2734 at the moment)

Any help would be appreciated as I'm a complete noob with PHP
