Different detection of version?

Hi! I have SMF wrapped in Mambo and running outside Mambo. The one wrapped under Mambo shows SMF 1.0 RC2 in the copyright whereas the one running outside Mambo shows SMF 1.0 and this behaviour is the same in the Admin panel.. anything to change in bridge to fix this?
