I like the theme Crip,

I want to add a chat button to the theme, how do I do this in the code.

Using SMF 1.17 with Black Rain 117 and you wouldn't happen to have a graphic button I can use too. don't worry if you haven't.

I  use 2 RC1  - love the black rain looks

A couple of things I would like to fix

When uploading an attachment and you select a file - in the browser box the file name shows in white instead of black so you rally cannot see it



I had a user write to say he could not change his password. I looked at the link and at that time - also any text entered was in white so people did not think the test was being entered - this screen shot however it is black but it normally is white



When making a post the text in the edit window is very small so hard to correct - how can we make it larger?



New use registration the name boxes are black and the password are white so you cannot see that you are typing a password - would like to fix this

Thanks for the update. Is it possible to say which files have changes as we cannot just overwrite our files as it would destroy alll the changes we have made.

This is a problem I have had three times so far very strange.

I lose the css file - I look at the page and it is all white and just exactly the same as if you had removed the css. I looked and the file was there but I did not open it - I will next time so see what is up. Anyway I just copied my css over the one there and all was ok but I have to stop it. Is there something that is overwriting the file - maybe on a scheduled basis? Like the RSS reader

Also at the top under the users name we see this



In my former theme it also showed the number of PMs there were total and how many new. There does not seem to be room here but if those 4 lines were just let to run there would be only 2 so plenty of room for another Line.

It happened again that the style.css was not being seen I guess as late in the afternoon the SMF lost all its formatting and I only overwrote the style.css in the BlackRain root and it was back. I saved the one that was not being "seen" and they look the same- guess I will have to use some ckid of compare file program to see how they are different.

Have to find out what is causing this of course - maybe i need to make it a ran only ?

The other strange thing that happens when this takes place is that while you can still upload an attachment - you can do only one because if you click on to add another it will not open an additional space to browse....

I was able to fix two problems

One was when you browse to a file for an attachment it was white on white background. To fix that I added this to style.css

To fix the font size only on the post window text box when you are posting it I changed to size here

Still have not found where to change the text color for password entry for users and for admins when going to admin panel as now it is often black on black

Hello , i want to change the width of the theme to make it bigger in order to suit with my portal.

I tried changing the width in the start of its style.css but nothing changed .. i even deleted the style.css and all remain fine ... from where can i change it ?
