To further help, you can use the built-in parser on the download page of every mod as seen in the image below.

I use this parser for every mod. The 0.7.9 download is no longer there; I cannot parse it with that feature. I'll check out the xml files but I'd really prefer a "find" and "replace/add before/add after" kinda deal.

Look in your /Packages to see if it is there. If so, download it and use that. If not, look in /Packages/backups.

Try this parser: http://resourcez.biz/PackageParser/

Ok so I manually removed the modifications I made on pages 65 and 66. Then used package manager to remove the rest. Then deleted the zCommunity folder.

Downloaded 0.8.1 and uploaded the zCommunity folder and the package to the packages folder. Installed the mod via package manager. Then when I went to manually edit my custom index.template.php, I could not find any of the code that needed to be modified or have code added above/below.

If I attach my index.template.php, could someone make the appropriate modifications for me?

1. Unable to set default permissions (reverts back to default every time)

2. When enabled, pressing any board, topic or post in the forum directs straight to the blog page

3. Blog page overwrites TP portal on home page (is there a conflict with TP?)

I have SMF 1.1.8 with TP 1.0.5
Firefox browser
Don't Follow me I got No Idea what I'm Doing

shaitanfr

Rafferty, I have exactly the 3 same problems as you.

Smf 1.1.8 TP 0.9.8

Hmm...upon installing the latest version onto 1.1.8 with TinyPortal my links are all screwy.

For starters the main page is now the blog (main page of the site that is) instead of the main page that I originally set up.  This wasn't the case with the last version of zCommunity

I also now lack "admin", "search", "profile" and "members" but somehow have "Home", "Blog", "Forum", "Help", "Gallery" and "Logout"

And when I click into the other areas beyond the blog I get all my navigational menu's back until I go back into the blog

Any ideas?  I'm assuming it has something to do with a conflict with TinyPortal but I could be wrong.  I'm just guessing

Is this something just these two users have problem with, or is everyone having trouble? I'm worried to install because of it, I have 1.1.8 an TP 0.9.8, and when using Package Manager i get error on only Index.template.php, i can fix that, but i wouldn't want the whole community to go down because of the errors mentioned above...

I completely uninstalled everything and installed fresh SMF files and reuploaded fresh zCommunity files without Tinyportal and it still messes up the links and takes over the main page for some reason

Has anyone actually got this installed and working?

I would love to see it in action before installing to see if its exactly what i want!

From what I  have been reading it might be conflicting with tp... any updates on this??

I am having the same troubles, but I also had them with the previous version of zcommunity...

my blog community worked like a breeze in comparison to this zcommunity.

i also have the same versions of smf and tp as you having the issues above with missing links, and the other errors. i hope to see a stable version of this soon..its a good idea but w/out it actually working it just leaves us frustrated and blogless.
