how can i make my recent topic to be in a tree like manner(smf 1.1.8)Help needed

SMF doesn't support threaded mode.

It sounds like you want the recent topics to be in a threaded mode. For example:

Recent topic...this is a test
  Re: Recent topic...this is a test
  Re: Recent topic...this is a test
  ...etc.

All recent topics in SMF will just display in the order they came in.
