Not Appending http:// to links...

Question: is there a way to make the forum software *not* append "http://" to the beginning of all links even if you didn't put it there?  This "feature" makes posting IRC links and the like nearly impossible.

Yes, it's a mod to Subs.php.

Note that what it actually is doing is searching for www. and replacing the entire link into a URL tag.

Do you want it to autolink? If not I'm sure you can turn that off (and it'll not add http:// in from too if it wasn't there already)

Actually, it's bloody annoying that quick reply always puts "http://" in, when you hit the IMG icon, too.
