Ban a member from a board/category

Is there a mod that bans a member from a certain board/category?

Just a thought: why not use membergroups for it? Like, make a membergroup with the rights you want the member(s) to have, and no right to read/write the board or boards you don't want them to access. Then, make sure the member(s) are in this membergroup and not in another that gives them the right. Or, in 2.0, make sure they are forbidden access (even though they may be in another group with access).

I want this too! Doing it by membergroups is too complex.

Putting each banned/restricted member in a user group is a messy, tedious, and timely process and probably eats a lot of sql space when you have multiple people banned. I have 2.0...

I'd rather it be on a per user basis, and configurable via profile to be honest. But thanks .
