I'd bet you guys should love this & approve it is true because this is required for good Members. or staff

please post this on your website or forum it'll help members remember if the mods arent doing this without a good exuse kick em out the mod squad :D THXS

I thought I'd post some commonly used standards for user groups to form an idea of what you may have to accomplish or live up to before being accepted into said group.
I also put the standards summerized in the first line for each group, incase you wan to skip reading all of the explanation and stuff . The explanation may clarify if a bit more, though.
PS: Being frequently active is a feature that applies to all groups
If you have any suggestions for this post, please feel free to post them in a reply!

-Moderator
Social, Self Control, Knowledge, Trust
Usually must be sociable; meaning not getting into fights with other members. The reason for this is because if we had a moderator that got into personal quarrels, he may ban another user for something personal rather than for a better reason (such as a fued between players on a specific PSP game online taken to the site). You must also be experienced as a moderator or atleast have a good perception of what being a moderator is like. We wouldn't want people that are scared to ban users or banning users for too little reasons, now would we? A very important requirement would also be trust, meaning you must be trusted by the majority of the existing staff or members, so that you can be trusted not to abuse your powers when given them. Follow these standards and you shouldn't have a problem applying for moderator.

-Global Moderator
Experienced Moderator, Multi-Forum Active
Basically must have everything a moderator has, as well as being an experienced moderator that uses his or her powers appropriately and usefully. A good moderator in one section that is able to moderatorate well in other sections is worthy of being a Global Moderator (for obvious reasons). One other thing that is important when applying for Global Moderator is that you must be active in more than just a few forums. Normal Moderators are given a chosen forum that they are active in, and if that's the only forum you're active in, then what's the point of being a Global Moderator?

-Administrator
Overall Good, Especially Active and Contributing
Well, I could only say that you must be a huge contributor and on an existing Administrator's "good side" before daring become one for yourself. I don't believe that you can become an Administrator through application, as this is a rank of very high standards. All I would have to suggest is that you be a very good member overall, especially when it comes to being active and contributing to the site.

-GFx Team
Skilled Artist, Productive
Of course, being part of the "Graffics Team," you must be a skilled artist of some degree. This means that you must be able to create fluent and somewhat breathe-taking designs on your computer. You can use programs such as PhotoShop to help with this, also. Another feature of GFx Team members is that they are productive, meaning they can produce designs quickly and with ease. Now, every good creation takes time, however, we want people that are willing to go through with a design and not give up because it's too "boring." Some great designs may take days, so be patient and perhaps your design will get you into the GFx Team.

Interesting guide. One footnote: Only make people you actually trust these positions - especially admins. Admins have access to the database and, a little indirectly, the code. Only give admin rights to people you know you can trust.
Holder of controversial views, all of which my own.

Good guide should help a few people and no one said you were gonna make anyone an administrator. ;)
