Visual Verification Issue

Some of us (I'm sure I'm not alone) have visual difficulties and trying to pick out some of the letters in the verification box is sometimes literally impossible. The "Listen to the letters" link doesn't result in anything I can listen to so I have to keep trying with each new image until I find one that is clear enough that I can eventually get it. Can you either improve the visual verification so that bots can't figure it out but humans with visual problems can, or let me know if there's something I can do to make the "Listen to the letters" link work?

This is the problem with Captcha/visual verification.
Unfortunately the current ones are TOO EASY for bots these days.

In future we might have to increase the complexity even further :(
But thats not good for accessibility/users with visual problems.

The listen to letters should open a popup with either a Windows Media Player plugin to play the sound (in IE) or a flash based player in all other browsers.

Thanks for the response. Using Firefox 3.0.5, I just get a pop-up window with words and links and the links do absolutely nothing at all.

Having problems hearing this? Try a direct link to it.

My flash appears fine as it's working well for other things on other sites.

Anyone who is making bots that can tell what letters are on the pictures shouldn't be wasting their time on bots - they should be kicking butt in AI in a highly paid position! :)
