Hello Guys I have installed smf arcade, gallery etc mods which require manual edits on custom theme but they aren't appearing on my homepage.I have also done custom edits..the mods are working on the default theme...

MY SITE=TALKPARK

I have also attached index.template.php file of my custom theme
I just wanna see that the problem is in me that i cant install mods or the problem is in the custom theme...
Can anyone help me?

I know how to manual install mods..the problem is that even when i manually installed mods like gallery,arcade...etc.
There buttons aren't showing on the custom theme..there settings are being shown on admin but not there buttons..
so should i have to install buttons..?
if so, then can you tell me how?
:)

You have to do the same custom edits to your custom theme. Keep in midn though, the code in your theme will look different from the default theme.

I already have but still no luck... :)
Can you do it for me only one mod just so i can see that i was not be able to do it or the theme has sum problem...
use the same index.template.php file i attached earlier

To me it looks like the arcade button is already there. Open your file and find [Arcade]. Look at how that (and the other) button is made.

I didn't see it in the index.template.php, so I've added the code from the Arcade mod and attached it here.

You'll need to rename it of course.

Thanks now its working....at first when i edit the mods didn't work but after the file u gave,i edit that and the mods started to work...
but there is one problem...i have attached the image u can see...

I just took the style as it was before. If you look at the other entries of how it's done, you'll see they use a slightly different code, relating to the <td> and the class it uses.

You should be able to make the changes easily enough - just follow the same pattern as the other links. If you'd like to upload your current one - including the gallery link - I might get chance later on to make the edits if you haven't been able to.

Thanks, there is one thing i want to ask you.am i doing some thing wrong?
i loved some one site named talkpark.net so i made my own talkpark.co.cc but if you enter the site the boards and everything are completely different..If i have done some thing wrong i can delete the site :'(

Arantor

Well, you would be best advised speaking to the creator of TalkPark.net himself about it to see what his views are.

As for the topic of conversation here do you still require support?
