Send mail denied but still sent

SMF 2.0 RC1.2

Denied premission for members "allow users to send mail".
Tried as member and clickt a letter-icon for another account (my admin acc.) came to the mailform, sent the mail but got message: You are not allowed to...
Still got that mail in my mailbox.

Have no mods.

Does that happen when trying to send e-mail from an admin account?

Thank you. No as member. We have Send mail premisions denied but yet after you have written the mail and clicked send, the mail is still sent but you get a message that says: "You are not allowed to.."

Any errors in SMF Admin > Logs > Error Log tab?

I hea'nt tried this since I posted the question. Tested this again and what do you know.. It worked so the problem is no more:)
Don't know if the repair tool fixed this since I ran thoose tools frequently.
