Problems with forum on other pc

Hy everybody,

I've just configured this great forum on a pc. It worked perfectly, I've also updated to version 1.0.2.

On localhost it works great, but if i try to acces it from another workstation, the page loads only the text without pictures and text formating (style.css). I've also done this twice, and with the same result everytime.

What can I do?

If it isnt a web server or has a fast enough connection, I find my local server does the same, or do you have a fast connection?

On localhost works perfectly (the connection beeing very fast). Another pc on my lan does not see the forum as it should.  Do you have any ideea why is happening?

Actually I tested it on my home LAN and it appears my home server doesnt actually send css right, if you are running windows it doesnt seem to send the files right and identify them. Im still not sure how to fix though.

Well, I hope that puting it on a Linux will work. I've tested another site (POSTNUKE CMS) on my lan and it works. It seems to be a problem from SMF.

Well if others are working im sure SMF should. Im gonna look into this further.

Sorry for taking so long to respond.  This issue is caused by having your URLs set to localhost.  Use repair_settings.php to fix them.

What is repair_settings.php?

I've put the forum on a linux server and all worked well Of course I have a domain there so the issue never appeared.
