smf mobile?

I've been surfing things like myspace, yahoo mail, google mail, facebook and more from my PCS cell phone. (Recently picked up the new Sprint Rant and using that.)

I got to thinking, it would be wonderful if SMF had an easy to surf and view mobile version that came with it, or as an add-on.

Does anyone know if something like this is currently available?

Add ?wap, ?wap2, or ?imode onto the end of your favorite SMF-powered site.

Do you know of any mods or anything that I can load into SMF so that it sends me a text message when I get a PM, or someone posts to a "watched" topic?

can we fully utilize the wap capabilities of SMF? for example someone is using a mobile device they are automatically redirected to wap pages?

That should always happen if your using a cellphone, im not sure about other mobile devices.

Detection isn't 100%, however. Both Opera Mobile and PIE under WM 5 don't get auto-detected, but that might be by design (they are "rich" browsers and capable of real HTML).

I have just moved my site to a new host and one of my members has posted this so i will ask them to give the above a go and see if it helps at all

I have tried this and it doesnt work for me. Is there a special way to go about it?
