We have cgi/perl ubb running, but have had a few hiccups and are looking at php forums as the way forward.

We looked at phpbb etc, now short list is headed by smf, our needs are few, have installed a test/spanish smf_board, no problems. What will now decide if we commit to this script is the support we can obtain, we are happy to purchase this support, and hope to need little of it, but need to know its exists.

How does it work, we are happy to purchase Charter membership, but wonder about additional support?

I do not wish to post the url of my test boards but will email them, looking at these will best explain our needs. I will be happy to hear from anyone who might assist, especially from simple machines themselves.
