error installing MOD

just a question,

when we are installing a MOD and it says there is an error on instaling this MOD on file "xxxxx.php".

if we igno this advice, what happens to this file "xxxxx.pht" ? will be modified, or will be just ignored and all the other filles be modified ?

If you ignore it, all other modifications will be made.

This may break your forum substantially however, it's dependent on the mod. If in doubt, ask the mod author.

There is no "Magic Pill" for this. The mod authors can give the best advice on what to do upon error
