This mod will allow you to prevent certain users from entering certain boards of your choosing. Those users won''t be able to enter those boards. They will see them but they can''t enter them.

You can enable and disable the mod from the acp of your forum, where you can also choose the boards that you want to set as off limit for the troublesome users.

My apologies, but I am taking a break from accepting PM requests for support.  If I am not currently assisting you, please do not ask as long as this notice is posted.  Thank you.

hi i have a problem, you see when you navigate to /index.php?action=ban ...on the left hand side it shows the admin index..which includes ADMINISTRATION CENTER and SUPPORT AND CREATED under the MAIN and...BAN LIST under MEMBERS...is there a way to remove the MAIN part....(which includes the center and support links)...or if possible..is there a way to complete remove the left side index?...i do not want mods checking out administration center...which shows everything about the server and forum

Very nice Mod!  Tested it on myself, and got banned from the boards I entered.  It worked perfectly!

Thanks!  :)

I am not sure that I understood what you meant. My mod has nothing to do with that.

P.s. Can you post a screenshot of the problem btw?

This is a wonderful mod, but is there any way that the person banned from the board can't see the board at all in the first place? So they don't know that the board even exists in the first place

Will there be a version for SMF 2.0RC2 ?

When ?

How do you add the troublesome users ?
Via the Ban list ?
or`how ?

I plan to upgrade it once 2.0 hits the final stage. You can add the troublesome users by their uid at the mod settings.

Hello.

I just downloaded and installed this mod, but what I get is slightly different from the screenshot I can see in the mod page.

This is what I got on SMF 1.1.11:

Is it just my problem? Can I be sure the mod is correctly installed as it said when I ran it?

Thank you for any answer.

Check that the code was added to your Themes/default/languages/Modifications.english.php  and  /Themes/default/languages/Help.english.php.
If you have templates named Modifications.english-utf8.php  and  Help.english-utf8.php, then add the code to them also.
If you are using languages other than english, you will need to add the code for those templates aswell. eg. Modifications.klingon-utf8.php
