gender and post based membergroups?

Is there a way to have membergroups based both on gender and number of posts?   I would like to use different membergroup names for my male and female members and have them change based on post count.  Is this possible and if so how do I do it?

It's not possible without a fairly substantial amount of change in the code where membergroups are assigned, amongst other things.
