hello,

after installing the latest simple portal mods i got an error message.

An Error Has Occurred!

after the mods redirect me to the simple portal admin settings page.

admin settings, blocks and other settings of simple portal mods not appearing on admin panel.

my smf version is 1.1.11
no other mods installed

before i have arcade mods, smf gallery mods, media gallery mods (Aeva Media) and deleted all this mods

Were there any errors on install? Which platform do you use?

there aren't any errors.

but i noticed when i unistall the simple portal, i got errors on subs.php and whos.php

Errors on uninstall means you have to manaully edit the files so the code is no longer in the particular files.

i have Aeva Media (Gallery & Auto-embedder) and simple portal mod installed in my forum.

when i try the gallery blocks, images from my gallery wont appear in the portal.

so i want to ask if simple portal supports Aeva Media (Gallery & Auto-embedder) mods?

if not then what type of gallery mods should i install?

how about smf gallery? or smf media gallery?

The smf media gallery has been integrated with the aeva mod to make the aeva media mod.

The code I found is as follows which must be placed into a php block

Remember to experiment with the numbers though

      Just use the space bar/back space in the title area to move the text around while you eye it up. Works for me.

I've not seen where to get it to fade, but if you have more than one News Item, they do alternate on the SP page. That gives it a little variety, anyway.

Having some issues installing the portal; it appears to install cleanly, but when it redirects to action=manageportal, I get "An Error Has Occurred!".

Error log says:

8: Undefined index: cannot_sp_manage_settings
File: /home/XXXXX/public_html/forums/Sources/Errors.php

Other mods installed:

Stars And Badges      2.1
SMF Arcade      2.0.18
Custom BBCode      2.00
Tar Game Uploader      1.0

Any idea what the issue is, or need any extra information that I neglected to provide?

Hello,

I installed the mod but when I installed it it says an error was found in the index.php of the default theme. I just installed it and I'm now configuring it but will I experience problems in the future with the error?

ok well i basically blew 5 moths worth wor organizing the site in all of 3 seconds... is there ne ways someone can help me fix my site work work correctly with this mod.. at first it was just a line error then when i went to fix it. i made it worse now im just exhasted and have spent hourse trying to fix it.. even just a walk thru or a second pair of eyes to help me find my mistake would be appreiciated

i have a back up of all my files BUT!!!!! i wanted to upgrade to 2.0 so thats what i did.. i kinda got myself back on track to the point that i just installed 2.0 on the server ill have to re organize the site but i would of done that after i got this mod running ne ways.. the 2 things i was worried about losing were my theme and all the posts.. but i have a back up of the theme and ill have to recreate the posts o well. now i need a walk thru on installing this mod since last time i did it myself i almost commited suicide lol
