Im having the same problem with the package's.

I have no alternate language's.

When I install a mod, it says its fine. Then, it's settings do not show up.Then when I unistall, every action has "test Failed".I have tryed re-installing SMF from scratch, but nothing seem's to help.

Any idea on what Im doing wrong?

I split the topic though, because it may be more clear this way.

Please try to verify the permissions on files: when you look at the mod's manual installation instructions (choose "parse" on the mod's page), you will see the files it needs to modify.
Please verify what permissions those files have, on your host's server, using a FTP client and checking files permissions (found at right click on the file, in some clients).
To-do lists are for deferral. The more things you write down the later they're done... until you have 100s of lists of things you don't do.

Alright, I'll do that.I'll edit when Im done.

Edit: I checked the files, None of the changes seem to have been made.

In your FTP client, like FileZilla, browse to one of the files that should be modified (and it's not), and right click, choosing to view permissions. What permissions does it have? Try changing them to 664, or 666, and the same for the other files and folders needed.
(as an experiment, you could set the entire Sources and Themes/default folders to 777, which is very permissive, but I strongly advice to undo such very permissive setting immediately after you try again installing the mod).

Note: Usually, permissions should be 755 for folders and 644 for files. But if mods cannot be installed on such settings, then 775 or 777 for folders and 664 or 666 for files can be tried.

Didn't work..

It says one of the directories in the Package's Folder is not writable, So I created a "temp" file an changed its permissions to 777, Then in installs, but doesn't show up.So when I go to Un-Install, it has everything "Test Failed". And then when I install a different mod It has the last mod I tryed to install and says "Modification Parse Error", Then if I delete everything in the temp file, I can install another mod fine, but it still doesn't show up.

About those that seem to install, but don't actually show up: Please make sure that all files and folders needed for the mod to modify (you find them looking at the manual instructions on the mod's page - click 'parse'), are writable (that is, have those permissions specified above). All of them, and the folders they're in.
