Unable to scroll down when posting

I don't know any other way to explain it other than this:

When I write a post everything is fine as long as the post isn't too long and doesn't require any scrolling to fit the text in.  But when the posts are long then the scroll function won't work.  Instead it jumps back up to some pre-defined place in the post.  I can continue typing and get everything in, but I cannot see what I am typing because it won't scroll down as I type.  It is really annoying.

Please help!

I take it you're using IE8. Put IE8 in compatibility mode, then give it a shot

Man I hate this IE 8. I just tried it in Mozilla and it is working fine.  Well thank you very much - at least I know what to tell posters when they complain.
