how to convert Mybb 1.4x to SMF 2.0 rc3

Convert to smf 1.1.11, then upgrade that to RC3

There is a converter to RC2, I think it should work for RC3 as well. You can find it in Downloads > Converters.

As for your question, here is the upgrade procedure: Upgrading SMF
To-do lists are for deferral. The more things you write down the later they're done... until you have 100s of lists of things you don't do.
