delete topic with a script

I use the RSS Feeder 1.1.4. This brings the News to my Forum. But after XX days I want to delete the old news. Anybody can write a script for me? or what is todo?

Maybe you can do something with the "Remove old Posts" option ?

You can select the board(s) the topics should be removed from.

But this is for using with my hands  I am looking for a automatic  way. I can use this with a cron job?

I have an idea: create a "Trash" and set auto pruning for xx days. and remember to change permissions to allow people seeing it
