Hi!

Since I upgraded my forum to SMF 1.1.10 the users are not able to see all the smileys installed.

Before I did the upgrade, when an user click on the "more" button a window was opend with all the smileys, but now nothing happens, so they can only see the default smileys.

Does anyone know why? And how can I fix it?

Paul_Pauline

Hi !

I would recommend you upgrade to 1.1.11 as this was a security update.

Your smiley problem may be related to this  http://docs.simplemachines.org/index.php?topic=1079.0

You just need to make a couple of small edits in the same file, the code you alter is in two places, ensure you make both edits.

Thank you!

I've tried that, but is stille not working...is like the function javascript:moreSmileys() is failling or something.

kat

Can you confirm that this is happening for all of your members, or is it just for you?

Also, do the smileys work, if you use the SMF default theme?

tintalle

It's happening to everybody and it doesn't work even with the default theme.

I'm trying to upgrade to 1.1.11, but it is giving me problems too. Now the forum is under maintenance, but when I try to run the upgrade.php it always give me Internal Server Error...

kat

If it's telling you that, I'd get onto your host.

tintalle

Yeah, I'm talking to them right now.

Every time I tried to do the upgrade it gave me "internal server error" and the next time database error, so I repair the database.
Now the server has suspended my account because of the several repairs in a short time!!

kat

Sounds like you need a decent host...
