Found this when I sent an email via the Contact Us form. Someone seems to have left out the forum link.  ;)

Is the word "Homepage" not a link, then?

TehCraw

Allow me to be more specific. Check attachment below.

I kind of feel that the sentences are not structured properly.

I think it should be something like:

QuoteThank you for sending us a message. We'll reply you as soon as possible. In the meantime, feel free to visit our support forum and search as there's a good chance that your comment or concern is already addressed there.

Would you like to return to our homepage?

That makes more sense ?

Still bad grammar. The term "reply you" makes no sense at all. It should be "reply to you". :P

kat

I thought that was an Americanism.

Antechinus

You want I reply you now Kat? You can reply me then. Or we can both reply him. ;D

kat

Let's all reply each-other. ;)

Kindred

actually, the "reply you" is wrong... the rest is not wrong... it is just using the passive form, which is wordy and awkward...  :P

How about, we'll get in touch with you ? :P

I still think 'We'll reply you as soon as possible' is right! 'We'll reply to you as soon as possible' is just out of question.

Any English teacher here ? I don't think that a preposition is needed.

kat

"We will respond as soon as we are able".  ;)
