[RC3] HTML for Members

Hey,

I know that this is kinda risky for my forum and stuff but I don't really care at the moment. I want  a way to allow html for some Membergroups. I've tried the html permission mod but haha didn't work really. Also tried Custom BBcode mod, don't work.

So I would love to see somebody who have a way to solve this annoying problem ♥♥♥

When you say "Didn't/don't" work, what do you mean?

I installed the mod first time with the admin cp and second time I've tried it manual.
I added the permissions for a test membergroup and tried it with a testaccount which I put in this membergroup, both times. But instead of for example a picture it shows <img....

So that's my problem

You tried this using the SMF default theme, yes?

Tell you what the best thing to do might be...

If you post in the mod's support topic, they may have an idea as to what's wrong.

For html permission mod the mod, you want this:

For the Custom BBCode mod, you want this:

http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=621

There's a lot of discussion in those topics. A lot of it seems to be about getting them to work on different versions of SMF.

So, they might well be worth reading through, particularly the last few pages.

Neither of those mods are meant for SMF v2, you see...

Thanks, I'll follow this thread, maybe someone will have a way to solve it ^^
If not... do you know if there is another way to change the table tags maybe in a css file or something ?

I suspect that someone else might, though, if you wait for a while.
