For example, an user upload an avatar, the url for example is: forum/custom_avatar/avatar_456_1281973752.jpg
The next day, the same user, upload other avatar, the url for example is: forum/custom_avatar/avatar_456_9881943742.jpg

I need a permanent link to the avatar of the user, a link that always carry to the avatar that the user is using in that moment

If you are allowing for users to upload avatars, how can you have a link that does not change? SMF does not do this.
