Hey guys *wave*
A user of my forum (and just that one I think) have problems with PMs, it looks like she cant send pm but she can receive them with no problem, what the problem could be?

kat

When you say that she can't send them, can you be more specific?

Does she have the relevant permission?

arkindal

She has a normal account as all the others that can send me PMs with no problems at all, I dont really understand her problem either, she simply state that che cant send messages.
Awesome avatar BTW

kat

Thankyou!

Thing is, WHY can't she?

No icon?

If she goes to the person's profile, can she PM from there?

arkindal

Apparently she can write the message, she can send it but the messages doesn't arrive. Not all the times, she sent some messages to me and they actually arrived.

kat

Maybe she's typing the message and simply forgetting to hit "Send", or something.

If it's just her, I suspect it's a case of PEBCAK. ;)

Have a word with her and, if this keeps happening, report back, yeah?

arkindal

Sure, I'll check this out and report :) Thanks for your support :)

arkindal

It was indeed a case of PEBCAK.
An awesome one. She tought that messages weren't arriving because she didn't used the "save message in sent folder" (or however it's called in english) and so she found the "sent" folder empty, embarassing.

We all get them, Arkindle.

In truth, I was probably one of them, back when. ;)

It was things, like that, that made me construct my smiley site.

Originally, it was just the "Trolling" section, here:

We were all noobs once... although that was a particularly fine example of the breed.  :)
