Invisionfree to SMF

I have a decently sized forum on invisionfree with around 100+ user accounts that I am currently considering moving over to simple machines.  However, I do have a few questions about what both my members and I can expect coming out of this conversion, since I've been having trouble finding an answer on my own.

Invisionfree allowed us to register accounts using duplicate email addresses, but SMF does not seem to have that same allowance from the testing around I've been doing with it.  Is this going to complicate the transition at all?  Ideally, I'd love to transfer all of the user accounts over with all of the topics and posts that we have accumulated over time, but I am a bit worried that something might go wonky on the user account end of things.

Thank you in advance for any information!

Hello there, and welcome around!

Indeed SMF does not allow duplicate email accounts from the user interface, but it does work with them, in fact, if it happens to have them in the database. So I don't think this should be a problem. If any surprise happens, however, please do post here, and I'm sure we will be able to assist.
To-do lists are for deferral. The more things you write down the later they're done... until you have 100s of lists of things you don't do.

Thank you for the confirmation.  I'm sure I'll be all over these forums whenever this move actually happens.  XD
