Hi,

Nice to meet you. I had the need of integrating the SMF 2.0RC4 version of SMF and Drupal 6.19.

As you know, there is a module called smfforum for doing this on hxxp:drupal.org [nonactive], but it works with SMF 1.1.

I have changed the sources of the SMF 1.1 API distributed by "vb" (you gave him permission for distributing a modified API) and adapted it to SMF 2.0 RC4, and the SMF license disallows me to distribute this changes without explicit written permission.

I want to ask you written permission for distributing this changes.

Thanks for your time and consideration.

Hello there!

smf_api.php has been distributed under the BSD license. So, yes, it can be freely modified and redistributed (with or without modification). These licensing terms only apply to smf_api. (not SMF).

Thank you for your work on it!

Ok, it's here:

Thanks for your collaboration!

Someone should put this in the downloads area, if there's not one there already
"Every generation of humans believed it had all the answers it needed, except for a few mysteries they assumed would be solved at any moment. And they all believed their ancestors were simplistic and deluded. What are the odds that you are the first generation of humans who will understand reality?"

Sorry, I didn't have time yet to check it out. I will get to it as soon as possible.
If possible, I will try to make known indeed, on sm.org, such invaluable contributions from the community.

This would be great!!

If you mention someone, please remember to add Vardim, most of the work is his work. I only had to update some things for making it work with latest RC4.
