From 3.16 straight to 3.18?

Can i upgrade the bridge from 3.16 straight to  3.18?

I looked at the FAQ for the bridge,it mentioned upgrading but didnt mention if such a leap can be taken.

So,what i do (if i can upgrade it indeed) is just send the specific files where the FAQ tells me to? Has anything changed?

Until now, all the uprgades I did to the bridge were done by uninstalling any previous version and installing the new one.
I suppose you can uninstall 3.16 and install 3.18 right away, and I guess it's the best way to do it.
