Where do I change the email notification content

You know, the one that generates the "A reply has been posted to a topic you are watching by..." emails to you. In my SMF 2 forum I get these messages but the post content is not displayed in the email. I know it is possible to switch this on but I somehow can't find where to do it. Can you kindly help me? Thank you.

It's in EmailTemplates.english.php (./Themes/default/languages) however, I did write a mod that allows you to create your own custom email templates based on any of the default templates.

Email Template Editor - You can download it there, but it's not officially approved by the Customization Team yet.

Thanks for the link to your mod. Looks real nice! I installed it on my test forum and I think what I want is Notifications Body right? Couldnt get it to run though. Notification still comes through without the content of the reply post. Appreciate your help.

I'm not sure which Email Template you'll want to customize, it is kind of confusing.

I don't know either. I am just hoping my users to see the reply that was posted to their thread.

As far as I know by default this is not a switch, as a matter of fact the message content was always send in the notification message. Maybe this is changed in RC4.

If you don't use RC4 there is something wrong in your SMF scripts

For RC3 I wrote a MOD to be able to switch including the message body on and off.

Sorry for the misunderstanding, I thought you where talking about PM notification in stead of topic-reply notification.

It is a check box, here you go
Admin control panel -> Features and Options -> General
It is the last item.
Make sure it is NOT "ticked" or checked. Select "Save".
