[FREE] Buddy count/list on profile page?

Hi everyone! I saw this on the IGN forums a few years ago and thought it seemed like a cool idea.

Description
The IGN forums are down at the moment so I can't get a link for an example, but it's pretty straightforward. On those forums, people can "watch" fellow users (much like the buddy system here). I'd like to see three things:

1. An option to display a list of buddies a user has added on one's profile page (perhaps an expandable one for users with a large amount of buddies, so that if a user has more than 10, or 20, or 50 buddies or something, then only the first 10/20/50 are displayed unless a [more] link is clicked.

2. An option to show a list of people that have added the user (as opposed to the user adding them) with the same functionality as #1.

3. The option to display counters for both of these, so that a profile page could also list the number of buddies a user has added, and the number of other users that have added them.

Permissions
The following permissions, ideally, should be customisable by membergroup (so that different amounts of information can be set for admin, mods, regular users and so on):

- View your own buddy count
- View your own buddied count (i.e. the number of users who have added you)
- View your own buddy list
- View your own buddied list
- View other users' buddy counts
- View other users' buddied counts
- View other users' buddy lists
- View other users' buddied lists.

Feature Set
For admins, the ability to set the number of buddy/buddied users to list, as is mentioned in the description.

I've already searched pretty thoroughly. There are mods to create a private buddy page, but I've seen nothing that integrates any of this info or any sort of buddy counter into the summary part of a user's profile page, so fellow users can see who's buddied who.

^ I actually have that one installed already. It's close-ish to what I'm looking for, except that I'm looking for something that actually puts a buddy/buddied count on users' profiles.

You really need to upgrade to SMF 2.0 RC5! A lot of bugs have been resolved since RC2.

Didn't see the need to repost this topic when I'm still looking for the same thing, only now the forum's been upgraded to RC5.

Sounds like a cool idea, although there should be something similar in the mod site already.

I had a look, the closest thing was 'buddy page', which for one doesn't seem compatible with RC5, and secondly it's only sort of halfway towards what I'm looking for as it doesn't list info such as buddies or followers on your profile page, and you can't view that info for other people (i.e. who's buddies with who).
