Two lines in recent post column

Hello,  I am trying to compress the overall size of my forum, and I was able to minimize my recent post column by removing the time and date part,  I want to do the same for the child boards, but I am stuck on finding that bit of code.  If anyone could point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it.

I am running SMF 2 RC5
I am using the Touch theme.

OK, maybe someone could answer this question... if BoardIndex.template.php displays the last post data, where do I find the child boards and their "Last Post" data?  Is it all in the same BoardIndex.template.php?
