The sort by Title doesn't appear to be working for me.

I have 2.0 and both the Topic Descriptions and Tags mods installed.

The other options appear to be working fine.

Would it be possible to adjust it slightly, so that the options available are sorted A-Z or Z-A? Ideally in an additional drop down under that, (with an "Up" and "Down" option). Do you know how I could go about this, or would you be willing to add it to the mod?

You know when you sort a list, you have an A-Z option, or a Z-A option?

Well, for example, you have a "Sort by Topic" option... I was wondering if it would be possible to chose whether it sorts the topics starting a "A" or starting at "Z" (or "Up" and "Down"). I think it would be a useful little addition to the sorting options.

Does that make some more sense?

Hello Bugo, I searched for a while for mod like this.
It works fine on my test forum, but there is a bug or something like that when I try it on
my another forum - as soon as I installed it, it changed order of topic from Last post (default) to First post,
and I can't change that.
All other options are working, but can't put order of topics in Last post order.

I use SMF 2.0.1, and have installed next mods:

So when I sort by First Post it is giving me the very first topic that was posted in that board.  Is there a way to sort the topics by first post (or better known as initial topic date) with the most recent topic on top?

Hi,

have the mod installed and set board sorting to be 'by subject'. topics in these boards are perfectly sorted now, but the prev/next links do not work this way. Do I miss something?

Example:
open forum:
             hxxp:artwork-online.info/index.php [nonactive]

open 1st board there:
             hxxp:artwork-online.info/index.php?board=6.0 [nonactive]

topic are perfectly sorted by subject, OK

open 1st topic there:
             hxxp:artwork-online.info/index.php?topic=118.0 [nonactive]

#01 appears
click "next »"

I would expect that #02 will appear, but #40 (the last one) appears.

Link behind "next »" is
             hxxp:artwork-online.info/index.php?topic=118.0;prev_next=next#new [nonactive]

and this seems to be the reason, isn't it?

Is there anything I can do against this? I am not an expert in PHP programing.

I installed the mod yesterday and it is working beautifully.

However, today someone has pointed out to me that although in the particular board the sorting is working by their assigned criteria (i.e subject) but some how all the other boards are displaying "Oldest Post first". So I check the boards and they are set to "Last post (default)" but they are still showing the oldest post first.

Some help here would be awesome.. thanks

i too am having the same problem of this "last post" sort order being reversed + backwards

unfortunately ive had to make the decision to remove this brilliant mod because of this bug
