merging smf and wordpress together

i dont think you understand wat am trying to do,i got forum with smf and i created a blog with wordpress so i want to integrate both together so they become 1 site instead of d blog using d subdomain.

I currently have a smf 2.0.1 forum, Im looking to add wordpress, my question is will this work on 2 separate databases? I have one for smf naturally, and wanted to make a separate for wp. I dont want to take a chance on wp messing up my smf forum I worked so hard on.

On WordPress plugin directory I found a couple of bridges and some of the plugins to merge smf and WordPress, but it require to use each seperatly for threads, users or topics. Is there any plugin or servise which integrate my SMF with WordPress?

You usually just want to integrate the users. The rest is exactly the content you want to keep separate.

As I have two different forums, I realized i need to unite them to concentrate on one of them. In this case I decided to run a forum on bbPress so I can manage my website (on WordPress) and forum at once. I found a service which can convert all my data from one forum to another, including attachments. The only thing that stopped me is that I am not that familiar with migration services. Does anyone have such an experience? Did you hear about  CMS2CMS ? Would it be worth to try it?

I don't know if anyone really used it or not, though...
