Need Help with blog in SMF 2.0.1

I am thinking of starting an website alongside a forum with it. So i am choosing SMF 2.0.1 for my forum. I want to make it look like: for example in the header: Home | Forum | Tech News | etc.
I learned that with SMFblog mod i can add a blog to my SMF forum and it's shown in the navigation link bar(i'm not sure if it's correct or not). I want to know if i can add the Forum BLOG in global header i.e.  Home | Forum | Blog | Tech News | etc.
Will i be able to do this? And if i can, how to do this?
If anybody knows please please help.

Yes you can include it in the header, by editing the index.template.php
But you can just use this mod, as it will probably be easier for you

in 2.0 the menu is no longer in index.template.php it is in subs.php.

I believe OP is asking if he can link directly to the blog from his site nav.  If that's the question, answer is yes, just copy url from adtress bar when at blog, and use it for menu link.

From what I recall, the Blog MODs for SMF2 add a nav button in the menu.   Both ADK Blog and Simple Blog mods add a Blog menu button.

you'll just have to rearrange the menu buttons in he order you want them to appear.
