How to deny/stop display name changes?

Is there a way to stop members and moderators from being able to change their own display name?
I have already checked under configuration>features and options>Allow users to edit their displayed name and it is already unchecked.  I had a search on this forum and the advice points to a permission given to certain membergroups could be the reason they can still change their name, but I have checked through the permissions and cannot see any option (checked or unchecked) regarding changing display names.  Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I was ok with the occassional name change but some members (and moderators) are changing their names sometimes weekly and as its an advice forum its real hard to keep track of who's saying what.

Thanks for any help you can give.

if you have unchecked that, then they should not be able to edit their display name at all. check it with an account with the same permissions.

Thanks - seems ok now which is weird.
I will keep an eye on it as a couple of names have been changed over xmas without me doing it.
At least it looks like they cannot be changed anymore.

Cheers
