smf 2.0.2 or smf 2.01 ?

hi , I used to use smf 2.0.1 and worked nice with emulation version , so why is there smf  2.0.2 ? is there some security resons ? because there is no "emulation version" in smf 2.0.2 so would like to use smf 2.0.1 so should i use it or ?
