How can I import an Excel list of members into SMF?  They would all go into one membergroup.

it's not that easy....  because the member record is more than just a list of names.

You could put together a script that takes the information you provide and registers it through the SMF member system. In fact, that's how the forum converter tools work (more or less). It's more than just a simple "import" operation.
