Hide boards in "Recent Posts"

I am admin at a site where Roleplaying and games are the main subjects. But some of my users are only interested in the gaming part and get a bit annoyed but the "overflood" of RP posts in the "Recent Posts"... So, is there a mod for 2.0.2 that gives the user the option to "hide" by 1 simple click?

Free mod please. Since I have no option to pay online :/

You can ignore boards in SMF, you only need to enable the feature in the ACP so your users can ignore the boards.

Sorry for the bump but I tried to ignore boards and this is not exactly what I am looking for... Since I don't plan to hide a board entirely or do this for every single member .... or explaining them how it's done.

Besides... It's not really what I asked for in the first place.
